Join LAPL Automotive Ltd. as an Inward Quality Engineer for our Motor Division, where
precision and performance drive everything we do.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and verify quality of incoming raw materials, components, and bought-out parts
Ensure compliance with quality standards, drawings, and specifications
Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and documentation of non-conformities
Coordinate with suppliers for material rejection and corrective action
Maintain incoming inspection reports and records as per IATF 16949 standards
Work closely with Purchase and Stores teams for material clearance
Support root cause analysis and improvement of supplier quality
Assist in calibration and maintenance of quality instruments and gauges.
Qualifications & Skills:
\u2714 Diploma \/ Degree in Mechanical \/ Automobile \/ Electrical Engineering
\u2714 2 to 5 years of experience in Inward Quality in an automotive or manufacturing environment
\u2714 Good knowledge of inspection tools (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.) and drawing interpretation
\u2714 Understanding of quality standards like IATF 16949, ISO 9001
\u2714 Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills
